RESULTS FROM A PERSONALITY QUIZ from http://www.quizbox.com/personality/test82.aspx

Your view on yourself:You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:You are not looking merely for a girl/boyfriend - you are looking for your life partner. Perhaps you should be more open-minded about who you spend time with. The person you are looking for might hide their charm under their exterior.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:You prefer to get to know a person very well before deciding whether you will commit to the relationship.

The seriousness of your love:You are very serious about relationships and aren't interested in wasting time with people you don't really like. If you meet the right person, you will fall deeply and beautifully in love.

Your views on educationEducation is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.

The right job for you:You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.

How do you view success:You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.

What are you most afraid of:You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It's time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.

What is your true self:You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

What kind of person are you?:
You are an outgoing and cheerful person. Although you get frustrated sometimes, you get through hard times easily and are joyful again.Your friendly personality makes you attractive in the eyes of the opposite sex, but this makes your spouse feel insecure. Your lack of emotion is a disadvantage, but your candor has made you popular.Friends of your gender find it hard to understand you because of your innocent thinking. But this is your advantage as it attracts members of the opposite sex who have the same personality as you.

Yesterday afternoon's dental appointment was indeed quite memorable in a really bad way, firstly, I had my right pre-molar tooth extracted. As the root was quite deep and slunt, it was really painful as the dentist tried to pry out the tooth, despite having about 3-4 injections of some medication which causes numbness, I still felt immense pain whenever he applied force on the tooh the pain could even cause me to tear and my hands to sweat, after that, Dr Quake, my dentist, had no choice but to ask his assistance for a longer needle, for another 2 more jabs into the gums, this time, I think he tried to apply the drug deeper into the gums. After the 2 jabs, I rested for about 5 mins before he tried again.. finally even though I was shivering and clenching my fists in pain, pop! the tooth came out.. Phew! At last.. it;s like preganacy seriously...after the extraction, I requested for the tooth to be returned to me... Later on, he added the studs unto my lower jaw and tightened it with a thin cable... after that the recpetionist taught me how to keep my braces/jaw clean... I was also precribed painkillers for my wound.. Later on when I reached home, I could still feel the numbness in my lower right jaw, probably due to the countless no of jabs, there wasn't much pain, about an hour later the numbness died off, but suprisingly there wasnt any pain.. Later on, played maple for awhile before going over to my grandma's place for dinner about 10-15mins walk... had porridge. After dinner, walked back home. At about 10pm, Jeremy Tan came over, he brought over his lappie.. played counter strike over the home network till about 1am.. then slept at about 0130.. he used my brother's bed as he went to msia with my parents... The next day, we woke up at about 10am, played pool at about 1030 to 1130, was trashed quite badly.. Jeremy stayed at my place till about 3plus before going back home.. Later in the evening, we met up to go for Ashley's birthday at Costa Sands chalet, the BBQ looks really good but sadly I could not indulge the way I used to due to the braces, but I tried tearing up the meat into smaller pieces, and in the end I still manage to get a taste of the fried stuffs!

    Braces is damn uncomfortable!

Today, went for Incredibles outing to Science Centre! not many people came though.. we met up outside Sheng Shiong supermarket at about 10am.. Chin Seng chatered a mini bus there... we reached there at about 1120am, did BIble study for about half an hour before going for lunch at mac... the queue there was really long as there were many students and children there... After eating, we went to see the exhibits.. I went along with the guys, Chin Seng, Joshua, Dennis, Jonathan, Kevin and Anthony... we went around searching for answers to the quiz worksheet that was given out, Dennis who was the quiz setter was kind enough to give us hints on where to find the answers... At about 5, we gathered back to wait for the bus to send us back to Bedok... Today's trip was overal meaningful, as I really get a good chance to forge a stronger friendship with my younger guys..
    Fries Fiesta for lunch!
Cheeky Kevin,, shredding his fillet o fish bun before eating... lols..

Today was my last time shadowing drums. It was great to have the last opportunity to get tips and advice from Kelvin and Sheryl Tan. Today, I was also granted the chance to play through the entire list of songs with the team. Thanks to Sharon the worship leader. After this session I would be on my own already and in April, I would be taking stage... Thank God for this! Kelvin was really good to offer his assistance and guidance for my 1st official duty of worship rehearsal and sunday service. Tomorrow, I will be going down to see a doctor for the huge pimple on my eyelid which has been there since a week ago...

Today, I really had a good excercise in the morning and afternoon. In the morning at about 9am, met Joshua Tan at his place, we started of out our mini biking marathon from his place at Tampines all the way to East Coast park. The park route connector was about 6km+. We reached ECP slightly close to 10am. By then due to my lack of stamina, I was already quite drained. We both took a drink and rested about 10mins before setting off in the direction of Changi. From east coast park, we cycled all the way to the airport perimeter. The path along the airport perimeter was nearly 4.5km. It was a straight stretch, personally one of my favourites because I got to see planes take off and land right next to me. The sound of the engines blasting from the jets taking of is simply awesome! Managed to spot 2 SQ planes and some other planes from some budget airlines in action taking off and landing. After that stretch, we cycled along the changi coast to changi point. The path along there was quite deserted but the sea breeze was really humid and warm. After 3.5-4hrs on the path, we finally reached Changi Point near noon time. Ah.. that was the time for me to satisfy my craving for the famous nasi lemak there, Joshua took something else intead, I took nearly 30mins to queue for the taste of heaven.. haha.

After our lunch, we detoured out of the park connector route and when through pasir ris instead. The route we took brought us past Changi Prison, the route was really quite bumpy and hilly, we had to cycled up and down a few times, this was really tiring for my tigh. Soon later at about 1pm, mother nature took the turn for the worst, the clouds grew really dark, the wind was really strong and cool, at first I thought this was a relief from the really warm weather we had experienced earlier, but then, it started to pour heavily. Although the rain was really heavy, we still continue to make out way towards tampines, via pasir ris. It was the first time I cycled in such heavy rain, it was quite a struggle for me, as not only I'm drenched and cold, I also had a bit of difficulty looking ahead as the wind and rain was blowing straight into my face. As we neared Tampines, the rain subsided, and as we continued, the rain gradually stopped. We reached back at about 245pm. We covered a total of about 16-17km i guess. Had a warm bath a Joshua's place, borrowed a set of clean clothes and sandals from him as I had misunderstood the weather earlier. Today, was probably one of the times where I got to excercise. Hopefully in future, more people would be able to join us in our cycling adventures!! IF you are reading this post and feel interested, let me or Joshua know!

Today, Jeremy came over to help me out with editing and refurbushing my blog. Before that, played a few games of billiard downstairs. Jeremy really looks great with his new white braces, next week would be my turn! I'm really worried about the discomfort and having the problem of munching on good food. I was really slacking the whole day literally, hopefully tomorrow would be better. I'm looking to going out for cycling with Joshua tomorrow, may be starting of early in the morning.. I'm thinking of cycling to Changi Village for nasi lemak lunch tomorrow! haha.. thats my plans.. I think I'd better call him soon to confirm...

Today, I was reunited back with the puppetree team!! My childhood ministry since I was primary5/6 !! Finally after about close to a year, I get to meet back with the team(although not all are involved this coming easter) and my furry friends... you know what I mean...haha.. what a good feeling =)Last week, I did not have the chance to meet up with the team at Susan's place to discuss the roles and choreography as I was down with a bad flu...only today, I was briefed about my roles for the upcoming easter. I had been assigned a male puppet and funzel and also had a discussion with my fellow puppeteers Denise, Karen and Glen on the choreography/stage positions. The song that be will be doing is the rock version of "amazing grace". Based on the the song, it would be challenging as the beat/tempo throughout is pretty quick and theres lots of specific movements that I had to memorize. Thank God this song is short , that means that the puppeteers would'nt face the problem of aching arms... Just now before the dry run, I only had a chance of about 5mins to glance on the choreograph plans on Karen's songsheet before moving up the stage to go through... That was definitly quite a bad experience as I didn't really managed to digest what was written down 100% resulting in me needing to glance at Karen and Denise's puppet very often.... Next sunday afternoon, there will be intensive practice at Susan's place.. I really hope that most of the technical issues would be finalised by then...

Have you ever asked yourself why are there so many ordinary church goers that always take the initiative to lead or take up higher responsibilities/roles in helping the church grow/improve? Some people may think that it may be really silly and a waste of time and energy to wake up really early in the morning and get to church to set up the sound system, lay the cables for the worship team, tune the projector etc... But think again.. By serving and Lord does, God will definitly bless you many times back..... but of course, it is wrong for us to expect something out of the service for the Lord. Remember it is all about the relationship with God, imagine God sending down is only Son to die for us... what more can we do in return in contributing something back with gratitude and thanksgiving. Personally, I do not take God's grace forgranted, whenever I do, I'll repent. Basically, life is about a constant relationship and commitment. This lifelong commitment is about serving the Lord wholeheartedly with gratitude and favour and showing the world that Jesus is the truth for eternal life! God just just like my parents, giving me all the good stuffs in life even when I fall short of his glory. God is just like my dad.. ask and receive and my joy will be complete! Whenever God blesses me with something good, its either I use the blessing to bless others or use it to magnify God. To give a real life example, God had blessed me with musical talents(drums and keyboard) and instead of keeping it as a personal hobby, I will use it to serve the Lord! As i believe, everyone has their own unique talents.... imagine what is it for God to give us something that is specific and rare... would'nt it be great to return what we have to the Lord with gratitude from our hearts? Imagine how would our parents feel if they found out that we do not even care for them when we avoid returning/sacrificing back something in return for their love for us all these years... of course our parents will feel disappointed in us and may wish to discipline us and take back whataver they had given us to teach us a lesson. It the same way how our heavenly father feels when we choose not to return him what he blessed us with. In the same way, always please God by using what he has blessed us with to serve him. Basically for everyone, God had blessed all of you with good health, have u ever put yourself in the position of people who are born without limbs and arms, some even with defects such as abnormality of their organs. Could these people ever live such a comfortable and active life that what many of us always take forgranted. By the fact you are being able to read my blog from the beginning to here without much difficulty and pain is already a blessing. So give thanks to God for such simple pleasures of health! The fact that all of you are reading this are healthy people please give thanks to the Lord! Never take this blessing of a healthy life forgranted! ALWAYS THANK THE LORD DAILY for the fact that you are able to wake up every morning feeling fresh and healthy and ALIVE!! therefore It is only right for us to make full use of this blessing to serve our creator!!!! Make full use of our healthy life to serve the Lord... whenever you have the time, serve him.. Never be self-centered and keep this blessing for your own advantage. eg using the blessings of God to pursue wordly passions such as status/wealth... many people only realise this lesson once they have been through the situations of "wake up calls"... people who had encountered near death experience and managed to make it back alive and well. So please remember, whenever you have a personal interests, always check if it pleases the Lord and always seek him in every decision you are about to make. Always remember, it is the Lord that sees you through in your life, protecting and guiding you as you grow... always do your part in return with a heart of thanksgiving! I shall end here, I hope this message would inspire and renew your love and passion for the Lord!

Today, almost the whole day, I was on the piano practicing Prokofiev's vision fugitive no14, seriously, its hard. I'm still trying to get the hang of the right fingering and notes, hopefully by next week can settle all the notes and rhythm. Today, also managed to drill further the 3rd movt of Beethoven's moonlight sonata. Later in the evening, I met up with Pepin and Jonathan at Bishan before heading to Ashley's place... the food was fantastic. Baked rice with mozerella(not sure if pronounced correctly). Her mum is really a good cook.. LAst week was Mee Siam! I really hope my future life partner would be also a great cook.. hehe! Meryl led the discussion on the topic "how to God guide us". After the session, got a lift back from Uncle Toh Hwa... came back abt 11pm.. checked facebook, email then wrote in this entry... yawns! I'd think I better stop here...

Today, In the morning at about 11am, went down to Clark Quay to visit the dentist. Today, I had to remove my left pre-molar, the tooth next to one of the molars on the lower jaw, still have the right side to extract before I can put on braces for my lower jaw. Basically, the reason why I had to extract 2 teeths on my lower jaw is to create more space for the remaining teeth to spreadout and shift my lower jaw back a bit(braces will settle this), as now it is quite protruding. Sounds like extreme makeover huh.. When I come back on the next appointment which is on the 19th March, dentist would be removing my right pre-molar tooth and put on the braces for my lower jaw. Once, the braces comes on, I would definitly face problems in eating the good stuffs!
;( no choice for most good thing comes with a price in fact everything... hopefully I would be able to get through this hurdle of braces...

Today, I also managed to invite 2 friends for upcoming alpha session. One is Jonathan and the other is my ex classmate, Yong Tai. Thank God I was able to succesfully apply what I had learnt during Dr Geisler's course to invite my friends over! Key points taught such as establishing common grounds and focusing on their interests/problems does play a part. I really pray hard that God would minister to them in a very special way this upcoming alpha session. I also really hope that God will open doors in their life through the topic of "How does God speak to us" and I also really hope that God would create a cusiosity in their hearts that they may want to discover more of you.

P.S Happy Birthday to you! Platypus Bear! =)

HELLO!!!! I'm back after a realli LOOOONG break from blogging... Many things had happened during this period of time... Firstly,

1)After 3 months of shadowing drums in the BC worship ministry since December08, I'm gonna be accepted into the main team in April!! After sooo much praying and trusting the Lord, my mentor, and parents, I have sensed it's time for me to move on to a higher calling. A place where I would be able to use my God given musical talents to serve HIM!! Praise the Lord!! I would be stepping down from the Media Ministry in about a months time to move .. . For a moment, I realised that I had been in the Ministry since I was around Primary6... and it was Uncle Roger Foo who mentored me that time and asked me if I woud like to join to Media Ministry.. he was the first person who taught me how to handle a video camera! From then on, my interest and commitment towards the ministry grew... during this period, I had a chance to nuture my values such as accountability and being independant.. Many years have passed since.. being under fellow leaders like Roger, Chee Yong, Randy, Jeremy Teo, Eve and many more... has been really fun and memorable! I really hope that the ministry would continue to grow with more new people passionate for serving the Lord!!

2)This year I had made a choice to take another big step of faith in discipleship by moving into Incredibles mentoring. Joshua and Wayne had also made this decision to take this step of faith. I really hope that through this, I would be able to nuture and guide the younger generation to have a strong passion for Christ! With Guidance from the Lord and my mentor, I believe that I would be able to acheive this!
Currently me, Joshua, Owen and Wayne is incharge of mentoring the primary 5 boys in the church. I am still praying hard for who would be my mentees....

P.S I'v fallen for you.. not by your looks nor wisdom... but by something that really can't be explained... but this strong attraction towards you... now simply leashed up passion.. unexpressable.... is seemingly hopeless.... the torment I'm experiencing is what many of you had experienced in one way of another in some time of your life. Is this a form of punishment from God? I really have no idea.... God please guide along the steps and burdens of life, as it's for only through you that I shall seek comfort and peace!
